Course Material
Easy Steps to Chinese adopts a new approach to teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Easy Steps to Chinese has three stages: Stage 1 – Books 1 and 2; Stage 2–Books 3, 4, 5 and 6; and Stage 3–Books 7 and 8.
It is designed to help non-native Chinese learners to lay a solid foundation for Chinese learning. This goal is achieved through the natural combination of language, topic and culture, from two aspects: vocabulary, Chinese knowledge learning and language communication skills training. This set of textbooks teaches Chinese as a whole, and pays great attention to the cultivation of the four communicative skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing during the teaching process.
课程教材
《轻松学中文》教材共八册，分为三个阶段。第一阶段为第一、二册；第二阶段为第三、四、五、六册；第三阶段为第七、八册。此套教材旨在帮助汉语为非母语的中小学生奠定扎实的汉语学习基础。此目标是通过语言、话题和文化的自然结合，从词汇、汉语知识的学习及语言交流技能的培养两个方面来达到的。
Learning Outcome
- Having finished Books 1-4, students will be able to take the GCSE and IGCSE tests. （Perfect Score: A +）
- Having finished Books 1-5, students will be able to take the AP Chinese Test. (Perfect Score: 5)
- Having finished Books 1-6, students are able to take the IB Chinese test(Perfect Score: 7)
Having finished all the eight books students can
- Be exposed to about 1600 Chinese Characters.
- Read simple articles in newspapers ,magazines, nd on the Interent
- Communicate spontaneously in fluent Chinese both orally and writing.

学完六册教材，可参加IB汉语考试（满分7分）
学完8册教材，能接触到约1600个汉字， 能阅读报纸， 杂志及互联网上的简短文章，能使用琉璃准确的汉语和口语及书写方面与人即兴沟通。
Course Features
- Our teachers understand what motivate teens to be interested in acquiring Chinese as a second language. Introducing and discussing what’s happening around teens life and the world around them is an important feature of this course.
- All four communication skills i.e. listening, speaking, reading and writing are simultaneously developed throughout the course.
- Teachers will lead students to learn and practice under a communication mode which emphasizes the background and purpose of communication.
- Students will be given numerous opportunities in expressing, presenting, and discussing their ideas in Chinese language.
